1. History Bowl registration is now open for the Wait List and Standby Teams only.
Please contact us at hs-info@iacompetitions.com if you are interested in a spot on the Wait List or a spot as a Standby team. Standby teams do not need to have qualified formally, but must be present within 30 minutes of the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA as of 7:30am on Saturday, April 29.
2. For Individual Events (i.e. all Bees and the US Geography Championships):
i. Students can still register for the National History Bee, the US History Bee, the US Geography Championships, the International Geography Bee and the National Science Bee until Monday, April 24th at 11:59pm EDT.
ii. As the originally posted deadline has already passed, there will be an additional $10 late fee for all subsequent Bee and USGC registrations. Note that after Monday, April 24th at 11:59pm EDT, IAC may allow additional registrations but this is not guaranteed (and in particular, if you are a top-flight player in a given subject, it is less likely that you will be allowed to compete in an event on short notice, as your addition to the draw would be more likely to skew things unfairly.)
3. National Championships Exams
i. Students can register for each multiple choice National Championship Exam up to 1 hour before each exam begins.
ii. As the originally posted deadline has already passed, there will be an additional $5 late fee for all subsequent National Championship Exam registrations. Thus the cost is now $25 for each of these.
