DESCRIPTION:International Academic Competitions is pleased to announce the 2026 New York City Metro Model UN Regional Conference\, which will take place at Ridgewood High School in Ridgewood\, NJ on Sunday\, May 3rd\, 2026!  This Conference will have both the Standard and Crisis Committee options\, and is open to middle and elementary school students in grades 4-8\, regardless of what state they are from\, as long as they have not participated in an IAC Regional Conference in the 2025-2026 school year. DESCRIPTION:IAC is delighted to announce that the Northern New Jersey Spring tournament will be held on April 19th at Ridgewood High School! This tournament\, like all IAC Regional Tournaments in the US\, is open to all students regardless of what state they are located in\, as long as they have not yet played this set of questions in the 2025-2026 academic year.  \n\n\n\nQuestion Set: Gold\n\n\n\n\nLocation: Ridgewood High School – 627 E Ridgewood Ave\, Ridgewood\, NJ 07450\nRegistration Deadline: Tuesday\, Apr 7th at 11:59 pm Eastern time.\nLate Registration: There will be a waitlist available after registration closes. Registrations will be added on a first come\, first served basis depending on space availability with a $10 late fee.\nCosts: $50 per Bee\, $20 per Exam\nRefund Policy: No refunds will be given after the registration deadline; a more complete list of our late registration fees and policies can be found here. \n\nBuzzer Based Competition Information for all grade levels \n\nSubjects: There will be three Buzzer-based bees at this tournament (National Science Bee\, National History Bee\, National Geography Bee).\nFormat: All students will play 3 preliminary rounds of 30 questions each. The top students in each division will then play in a final round to determine awards.\nQualifications: The top 50% of students in each division will qualify for the National Championships for their division.
