International Academic Competitions (IAC) organizes competitions in 40+ countries, including the National Science Bee, National History Bee, and the US Division of the International Geography Bee. Each Bee has an Online Qualifying Exam, Regional Finals tournaments in the 2022-2023 academic year, and a National Championships which will next be held in Washington, DC and Arlington, VA in June 2023 that we expect over 2,000 students to attend.
The initial registration and the Online Regional Qualifying Exams (ORQEs) are free for students; parents of qualified students can register their students for Regionals and Nationals, which carry additional registration fees. You can offer any of the three ORQEs to as many students at your school as you would like, and it takes very little time. Just click the Create a Sponsor Account link below to make your free account and get started!
Please note that a sponsor login is not required in order to register for Regional Finals, if your child has already completed the exams in class! Registration for regional finals is done at iacompetitions.com/registration.
To help with registration costs, ideas for fundraising can be found here.
For questions about all International Academic Competitions events, please contact info@iacompetitions.com. Note: All IAC Junior Varsity competitions are also open to younger students. However, these have somewhat harder questions, require separate qualifying for their National Championships, and include students up through 10th grade.
