Match Schedules, Results, and COBA-cc: The tournament’s online hub will be coba-cc.slapbowl.com/event-hub/296, which will be home to the match schedules, results pages, and all online buzzer rooms. You do not need an account to use COBA-cc as a player. The schedules and results files will be linked on that page on Friday for both Saturday’s History Bowl and Sunday’s History and Geography Bees. The password for all COBA-cc buzzer rooms for this weekend is canada (all lowercase, no punctuation).

Rules Clarification: The rules for this tournament are the same as those used in the regional tournaments held in March and April, with the following changes:
  1. The timing rules for all tossups in both the Bowl and the Bees is five seconds.
  2. The timing rules for all Quarter 2 bonuses and Quarter 3 Lightning Round questions is eight seconds for conferral, followed by five seconds to respond.
  3. In all matches in the Bowl Championships (both in the preliminary rounds and playoff rounds), the leading team chooses their Quarter 3 category first (as has been the case at past Canadian Championships).

Please direct any tournament-related questions to the 2022 Canadian Championships Tournament Director, Mr. Arthur Ramsay (arthur@iacompetitions.com).
